Welcome to the IMPACT! Safe Schools Student Leadership Conference
Join us for a day of meaningful, youth-focused dialogue at the IMPACT! Safe Schools Student Leadership Conference. This one-day event brings together students, school staff, and law enforcement to discuss and address safety issues and build a stronger school community. Through interactive workshops, activities, and discussions led by our partners, participants will explore important topics and brainstorm ways to apply their new knowledge to their school communities.

Conference Themes
Over the past few years, the IMPACT! Safe Schools Conferences have addressed various critical themes, including:

- Let’s Talk Conflict!: Building Bridges Beyond Discrimination & Bias
- Healthy Minds & Healthy Communities: Stress, Anxiety, and Social Pressures
These themes are central to our mission of promoting a safe and healthy school environment.


Conference Schedule
The IMPACT! Safe Schools Student Leadership Conference is held twice a year:
- Spring: For middle school youth
- Fall: For high school students
High School Conference
- Date: Thursday, December 5
- Time: 10am - 3pm
- Location: El Centro de la Raza Cultural Center 1660 S Roberto Maestas Festival St, Seattle, WA 98144
This conference is specifically for high school youth and will provide them with the opportunity to engage in important conversations, share their concerns, and advocate for solutions that empower and improve their school's safety and well-being. High school students can earn service-learning hours towards their graduation. This conference is a one-day field trip for students.
