COMMUNITY
POLICING
Goal:

community concerns.

Tasks
1a. Monthly interagency coordination

by SPD between law enforcement

NEIGHBORHOOD

associated w/ high crime neighborhoods,
ex. Abandoned vehicles, litter

dilapidated buildings, &
vacant, overgrown lots.
Strategies
1. Increase resident engagement
in community to increase sense
of ownership and livability
2. Encourage owners of rental
property and SHA (Section 8)
to assume more accountability
for properties
3. Support & involve community
and business organizations in
neighborhood clean-up and improvement
