Penny HarvestThank you Orca K-8 Penny Harvest for choosing SNG as your Grant Recipient!

We recently were awarded Orca K-8 School's Penny Harvest grant! Penny Harvest is a service-learning youth philanthropy program where youth between the ages of 4 and 18 convert their natural passion for others into action by collecting pennies and turning them into grants for community organizations. They studied community needs and organizations and chose to donate to us! Thanks Orca K-8!

Take Action workshops help neighbors learn how to work on different kinds of nuisances in their neighborhood!

Neighborhood Nuisance? Take Action!

If you experience problems in your neighborhood that you believe are related to a specific property, we can help! Sometimes ongoing nuisance activities can disrupt the neighborhood and make residents feel frustrated, and less safe. Our workshops are geared toward bringing neighbors together to discuss the situation and to learn what resources are available to address the group's concerns. Our staff are skilled and experienced at addressing complex neighborhood issues.

Our Take Action! workshops are geared toward small groups of neighbors who are directly affected by a chronic problem. They are free, and usually take between 2 and 3 hours, often with a follow-up visit. We present these workshops in Central Seattle, Southeast Seattle, West Seattle, and White Center in partnership with the City of Seattle Attorney Liaison from each of these areas.

If you are interested in discussing a neighborhood situation, or would like to know more about the "Take Action" workshops, contact Seattle Neighborhood Group!

Here are downloadable Take Action Logs for those who are already documenting a neighborhood situation.
