Penny HarvestThank you Orca K-8 Penny Harvest for choosing SNG as your Grant Recipient!

We recently were awarded Orca K-8 School's Penny Harvest grant! Penny Harvest is a service-learning youth philanthropy program where youth between the ages of 4 and 18 convert their natural passion for others into action by collecting pennies and turning them into grants for community organizations. They studied community needs and organizations and chose to donate to us! Thanks Orca K-8!

North Seattle

North Seattle is home to many neighborhoods that are all in the Seattle Police Department North Precinct. While SNG does not have dedicated staff for this area, we do offer resources and expertise for residents and businesses:

  • Our Community Education Team works in immigrant, low-income, and senior communities to educate on personal safety, using 9-1-1, identity theft, and fraud.
  • CPTED site surveys can help address physical safety features of an area.
  • Take Action Workshops helps neighbors work with nuisance properties in your neighborhood.
  • Landlord Workshops help area landlords develop and maintain crime free property in our neighborhoods
  • East African outreach project works in all of Seattle's neighborhoods to strengthen the ties of this large immigrant population to the communities where they live and work.

Resources for Residents

Many resources are available to North Precinct residents, visitors, and business owners to keep neighborhoods safe and strong. Here are some of our favorites:
